In addition to the straight racing aspect of Mini Goodyear, the race organisers used the class to introduce new-comers to to control line. Brian Lever reported: “We helped four youngsters under 12 to fly control line with around 40 laps apiece after three or four attempts. In addition we also managed to help four adults ( two of them ladies) to fly best part of 40 laps also!”
