Danny Fenton – control line scale (F4B) Silver at World Championships

Danny Fenton WINS SILVER in F4B (control line) at the 2024 FAI F4 Scale World Championships  in Ploiesti Romania.
As Bryan Seymour commented, Danny did plenty enough to secure the Silver medal, 2nd best in the World is a truly remarkable achievement especially considering the domestic scene isn’t well attended.

Dave Wiseman has just landed his final report from the 2024 F2 World Championships in Muncie, USA…

“Today was finals day, the end to a very enjoyable world championships. Mervyn and Kevin were a creditable 30th and 37th in F2B and Andy performed very well to get 5th in F2D. The F2D team cane 6th out of 16 countries which although not in the medals wasn’t bad.

Jussi managed to retail his F2D crown meeting Natalia in the final but probable the most exciting end to a final was F2C where the French and Polish teams were within a lap of each other throughout the 200 hundred laps and the French team ran out of fuel on lap 199 and had to whip the model on the last lap but were passed with a quarter of a lap to go.

The contest ended with the banquet at the impressive convention center and the presentation of medals.

I would just like to thank Bill Lee for all his efforts in organising this and all the other judges and officials for a well run completion. As expected America did not disappoint and we look forward to meeting these competitors again soon. Thank you.”
